Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule: What Null vs None Means (2026)

A blank consistency field is not a published zero. See which products publish a percentage, which state none, and which payout-stage caveats still apply.

  7. FAQ

"No consistency rule" only counts when a firm publishes an explicit none, or when a product capture records null and first-party FAQ or review evidence supports the absence — a blank field alone is not a zero. This list separates products with a captured consistencyRulePct (15%–55%) from the strongest none/null candidates, then flags payout-stage traps such as Apex Performance Account 50% and Tradeify Growth's 35% funded gate. Captures cited below run from 2026-09-14 to 2026-10-14.

Key Takeaways
  • A consistency rule caps how much of profit can come from the best day; it often blocks a payout rather than failing the evaluation immediately.
  • Across our challenge captures, published percentages currently range from 15% (Alpha Direct; FundingPips Zero; Maven Mini) to 55% (Topstep Trading Combine paths).
  • Explicit "none" language appears on City Traders Imperium Direct Funding ("No Consistency Rules"), FundedNext Stellar Instant FAQ (no consistency rule), and E8 Pro live rules ("Consistency rule There is none").
  • BrightFunded 1-Step / 2-Step Bright / Classic and FTMO 2-Step record null in the 2026-10-14 capture; FTMO 1-Step still records 50% on the same date.
  • Null ≠ none for Apex evaluations (Performance Account payouts still use 50%) and for Alpha bi-weekly routes (consistency unverified). Tradeify Growth stores 35% as the funded payout gate, not an evaluation rule.

What a consistency rule is (and why traders search for none)

A best-day consistency rule compares the account's most profitable closed day with a named profit base — total net profit, Positive Days' Profit, or a fixed profit target. The stage matters: evaluation, funded account, or payout request can each carry a different percentage or none at all. Exceeding the threshold often delays eligibility or raises a required target instead of closing the account on the spot.

Traders with lumpy PnL — one large session that carries the week — hit these caps first. That is why "prop firms with no consistency rule" is a common search. The formulas, denominators, and worked examples live in our prop firm consistency rule guide. For how consistency sits next to news windows, holding rules, and payout reviews, see no hidden rules prop firms.

Table A — Products with a published consistencyRulePct

These captures store a numeric percentage. Use them as the baseline of what you are avoiding when you filter for "no consistency." Percentages are product- and stage-specific; the same brand can publish different figures on different products.

Caveats: blanks ≠ zero, and payout-stage rules still bite

1. Null means "not published in that product capture"

Our schema stores consistencyRulePct: null when no verified numeric field was found. That is an evidence gap unless the first-party page or FAQ explicitly says the rule does not apply. City Traders Imperium's own capture notes state that marketing "no hidden consistency requirements" without a figure is recorded as null rather than 0%. Do not reverse-engineer a zero from a blank badge.

2. Apex: no evaluation consistency, 50% on Performance Account payouts

Apex Trader Funding evaluation products (Intraday Trail and EOD Trail, Standard and No Activation Fee) all store null, and the capture notes say no evaluation consistency rule applies. firms.json is explicit: "No evaluation consistency rule; 50% consistency applies when requesting Performance Account payouts." The largest profitable day must stay below 50% of total profit since inception or the last approved payout. Capture date for these Apex products is 2026-09-14 — the oldest among the firms listed here — so re-check before buying.

3. Tradeify Growth: 35% is the funded payout gate

Tradeify Growth Evaluation stores 35% in the challenge file, but product notes clarify there is no evaluation consistency rule and a one-day pass is possible. The 35% figure is the simulated-funded payout consistency gate. Select Evaluation uses 40% in evaluation only, with no funded consistency percentage on Flex or Daily. Lightning Funded starts at 20% for payout 1 and progresses to 25% then 30%. Reading the evaluation column alone will mis-rank Growth as "has consistency" when the practical hit is at withdrawal time.

4. Alpha bi-weekly consistency is unverified

Alpha Pro bi-weekly variants store null. Capture notes say the 40% best-day rule is documented for on-demand routes, while bi-weekly consistency remains unverified — not an absence claim. On-demand Alpha One / Pro / Swing still record 40%; Alpha Direct records 15%. Do not treat a bi-weekly null as "no consistency rule."

5. FundedNext news-window profit retention is not a best-day rule

firms.json lists FundedNext's consistencyRule field as a "40% profit-retention penalty on positions held during news-window releases (verified 2026-05-20)." That is a news-window profit treatment, not the best-day share formula used elsewhere in this article. Stellar Instant's FAQ still records no consistency rule in the sense of Table B. Conflating the two creates false negatives when filtering for lumpy-day traders.

6. Same firm, different products

FTMO 1-Step = 50%; FTMO 2-Step = null with no Best Day objective. E8 One = 40%; E8 Pro = none; E8 Signature = 35%. FXIFY Two Phase Classic = 25% funded-stage; several other FXIFY products store null. Always select the exact product slug, not the brand name.

Who should want no-consistency products — and who still needs other rules

Better fit when: your edge produces uneven daily PnL (event-driven FX, breakout days, occasional oversized winners); you already pass drawdown and news rules and only need the best-day share removed; you can document the product's explicit none language or FAQ before checkout.

Still check even if consistency is none:

  • News windows — FundedNext Stellar products restrict news; BrightFunded restricts news; CTI Direct Funding allows news on the captured products, but confirm the current page.
  • Overnight / weekend holding — FTMO restricts both on 2-Step; BrightFunded and FundedNext Stellar allow both in the captures used here; futures day-trading firms (Apex, Tradeify) flatten before the US cash close.
  • Drawdown type — BrightFunded 1-Step uses a 6% trailing maximum that locks after 6% growth; E8 Pro uses 8% static with a 2.5% daily drawdown and a 2% daily profit cap that is separate from consistency.
  • Payout gates — qualifying days, buffers, minimum request sizes, and discretionary reviews can delay cash even when best-day share is unlimited.

If your plan is already smooth across many similar days, a published 35%–50% rule may be cheaper or more available than hunting for a rare none. Run the worksheet in the consistency rule guide before paying.

Where to start among the strongest candidates

If you need an explicit first-party "none" sentence, start with City Traders Imperium Direct Funding, E8 Pro, or FundedNext Stellar Instant (FAQ: no consistency rule). If you want a multi-step forex evaluation with null consistency on the 2026-10-14 capture and a Russia-access-friendly universal offer on this site, BrightFunded 1-Step, 2-Step Bright, and 2-Step Classic all store null. For a classic two-phase challenge without the 1-Step Best Day objective, use FTMO 2-Step and keep FTMO 1-Step's 50% rule out of the comparison.

Comparing BrightFunded's null-consistency captures? BrightFunded 1-Step, 2-Step Bright, and 2-Step Classic all record consistencyRulePct: null as of the 2026-10-14 challenge capture, with overnight and weekend holding allowed on those products. Removing a best-day gate does not remove the trailing or static drawdown, news restrictions, or payout timing conflicts noted in the capture. Read the BrightFunded review, then check BrightFunded's live terms only if the exact product rules fit the strategy. FAQ

Which prop firms have no consistency rule?

Products with the strongest published "none" evidence in our data are City Traders Imperium Direct Funding ("No Consistency Rules"), E8 Pro ("Consistency rule There is none"), and FundedNext Stellar Instant (official FAQ: no consistency rule). BrightFunded's three captured challenge products and FTMO 2-Step store null without a 1-Step-style Best Day percentage. Always confirm the exact product page on the purchase date.

Does null consistencyRulePct mean the firm has no rule?

No. Null means the percentage was not published or not verified in that product capture. Apex evaluations are null but Performance Account payouts use 50%. Alpha bi-weekly routes are null while on-demand routes publish 40%. Treat null as a research queue item unless FAQ or rules text says none.

What is the highest published consistency percentage right now?

Topstep's Trading Combine paths record a 55% Consistency Target (captured 2026-10-06). Several futures and forex products sit at 50%, including FTMO 1-Step (2026-10-14), LucidDaily/LucidFlex, My Funded Futures Flex/Pro/Rapid, and Take Profit Trader's Test.

Is FundedNext's news profit retention a consistency rule?

No. The firms.json note about a 40% profit-retention penalty on news-window positions is a news-trading treatment, not a best-day share of total profit. Stellar Instant's FAQ still records no consistency rule in the best-day sense used in this article.

Does Apex have a consistency rule?

Not during the current Intraday/EOD evaluations (null; notes say no evaluation consistency). Yes at Performance Account payout time: 50% consistency per firms.json and the 2026-09-14 challenge notes. Do not buy Apex expecting a payout with no best-day check.

Can I pass Tradeify Growth without a consistency rule?

Yes on the evaluation: notes say Growth has no evaluation consistency and can pass in one trading day. The stored 35% applies to simulated-funded payout requests. Select uses 40% in evaluation; Lightning uses progressive payout consistency starting at 20%.

How do I verify a "no consistency rule prop firm" claim before paying?

Open the exact product rules or help article, search for "consistency" and "best day", save the page date, and ask support in writing if the field is blank. Cross-check our challenge capture date against the live page. Pair that check with news, holding, and payout-gate reading from the no hidden rules checklist.
