Traders Connect is a cloud trade copier for sending orders from a master account to connected follower accounts across several CFD and futures platforms. Its public product page currently lists 10 platform families, Standard CFD pricing from $10 per month, Futures pricing from $30 per month, and optional analytics and dedicated-environment add-ons. Those are vendor-published terms captured on 18 August 2026, not performance guarantees.

The service can reduce repetitive order entry, but it cannot make copied activity compliant with a broker or prop-firm contract. A private IP, custom trade comment, or changed order label does not create permission. The account owner must verify copying, automation, third-party access, cross-account coordination, and maximum-allocation rules before connecting credentials.

Editorial position

Traders Fund Hub does not currently record an affiliate relationship with Traders Connect. The review links the official service through our audited outbound redirect and uses direct first-party help pages for evidence. Commercial status contributes 0 points to this assessment.

Traders Connect in 6 checks
  1. Use case: one master account can send orders to multiple connected accounts, with risk and order behaviour configured per follower.
  2. Platform evidence: the current product page lists MT4, MT5, cTrader, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, ProjectX, and Rithmic.
  3. Cost basis: the help centre states $10 per connected account monthly or $100 annually for Premium; the current product page shows separate Futures and add-on pricing.
  4. Protection is conditional: Equity Protection is labelled beta and can disable the copier, close copied trades, or close all trades according to the selected action.
  5. Execution remains the user's risk: Traders Connect's terms recommend demo testing, require users to monitor positions, and disclaim responsibility for technology-related losses.
  6. No compliance shortcut: a dedicated environment changes hardware and IP allocation; it does not override the connected firm's personal-use, copying, EA, or coordination rules.

What Traders Connect currently offers

The product has 3 layers: account connections, copier rules, and optional controls. A trader connects a master account and at least 1 follower account, selects a risk calculation, then decides how entries, exits, pending orders, stop losses, take profits, comments, and symbol differences should be handled. It is not a social marketplace for selecting an outside strategy provider; the ZuluTrade review covers a multi-broker Leader-to-Investor model, while the CopyFX review covers RoboForex's broker-native Copy Trading Service.

Pricing is connection-based, so the minimum setup is not automatically $10. Copying from 1 master to 1 follower requires 2 connected accounts under the help-centre model, which produces $20 monthly or $200 annually before Futures pricing or add-ons. Rebuild the total on the live checkout because plan names, billing periods, and add-on prices can change after this capture.

How the copier handles account risk

The official risk-settings guide defines 100% as a 1:1 risk mapping and allows other sizing methods. That number is not a guarantee of equal cash risk: brokers can use different contract sizes, symbol specifications, minimum lots, currencies, leverage, spreads, and commissions.

Traders Connect exposes contract alignment, minimum and maximum lot controls, stop-loss and take-profit copying, pending-order behaviour, trade filters, and symbol handling. Configure each follower independently and place a small test order before relying on the mapping. A copied 1-lot index position can represent different exposure when the two providers use different contract sizes.

Equity Protection is a beta control, not the firm's loss engine

The Equity Protection documentation currently labels the feature beta. It offers percentage, cash-value, and absolute-equity triggers and can disable the copier, close copied trades, or close all trades. Some actions are mutually exclusive, and closing only copied trades leaves manually opened positions untouched.

Its percentage calculation compares current balance with floating equity under the documented setting. That may not match a prop firm's daily reset, starting-balance, high-water-mark, static, intraday-trailing, or end-of-day-trailing formula. Use the drawdown calculation guide and set a personal stop inside the official account boundary; do not copy a headline percentage into the tool without reconciling both formulas.

Strict Close and other advanced settings can increase operational risk

The advanced-settings documentation warns that Strict Close ignores master close events and therefore requires stop-loss and take-profit values on the follower. If those protections are missing, follower positions can remain open after the master closes.

The same page documents reverse trading, contract alignment, lot refiners, copied comments, magic-number controls, custom placed types, and deliberate trade delays. Every transformation creates another difference between master and follower execution. Save the configuration, test open/modify/close events, and retest after a platform or broker migration.

Does Traders Connect make prop-firm copying allowed?

No vendor can grant that permission. The prop firm's current agreement decides whether the account owner may copy between their own accounts, connect third-party software, coordinate across providers, use EAs, expose credentials, alter trade identifiers, or operate several accounts as one strategy.

A Dedicated Environment gives selected accounts allocated hardware and an IP address. The connection guide says those accounts disconnect if environment billing fails rather than moving automatically to the public network. That is an infrastructure feature, not a statement that FTMO, FundingPips, or another firm approves the activity.

Do not use settings to disguise the origin of a trade.

Traders Connect documents a Custom Placed Type that can make an EA-originated order appear manual. If a broker or firm restricts EAs, changing the label does not create permission and can add a misrepresentation issue. Confirm the intended copier and every transformation in writing with the account provider.

FTMO's current forbidden-practices page, for example, makes personal use the account holder's responsibility and restricts third-party access, coordinated activity, manipulative combinations, and software that creates an unfair advantage. That page does not give this review enough evidence to declare every own-account copier setup allowed or banned. Check the exact account type and preserve the provider's written answer.

  1. List every master and follower account, owner, provider, product, platform, and account stage.
  2. Ask whether copying between those exact accounts is allowed; “trade copiers supported” is too broad.
  3. Ask whether EAs, API connections, dedicated IPs, comments, magic numbers, and order-type transformations are permitted.
  4. Check combined allocation, identical-strategy, opposite-position, news, HFT, and third-party access rules.
  5. Save the answer and the rule-page date before connecting credentials.
  6. Recheck after a migration, account merge, payout, platform change, or rule update.

The copy-trading guide separates own-account copying from social signals and account management. If another person will control the master or receive credentials, also read the passing-services risk guide before granting access.

Failure modes to test before live or challenge use

Traders Connect's terms recommend testing signals in demo or placing a small test trade, require users to monitor copied positions, and state that the service is not responsible for electronic or technology issues. Those terms also cap stated liability at 1 month of licence fees. A copier is an execution dependency, not a substitute for platform access and emergency-close procedures on each account.

Benefits and limitations

Potential fitMaterial limitation
10 currently listed CFD and futures platform familiesDisplayed support does not prove compatibility with every broker, server, account type, or credential method
Per-follower risk, filter, stop, target, and order-behaviour controlsMore transformations create more ways for follower execution to differ from the master
Optional equity actions and dedicated environmentsEquity Protection is labelled beta, and dedicated infrastructure does not grant prop-firm permission
Connection-based monthly or annual billingTotal cost grows with connected accounts and optional Futures, Analyzer, or environment products

Verdict: suitable only after a rule and execution test

Traders Connect is a plausible fit for a trader who owns every connected account, has written permission for the exact copying arrangement, can reconcile contract and risk differences, and has tested every order event in demo. Its broad platform list and configurable controls are useful evidence; they are not evidence that a provider will honour a trade copied under prohibited conditions.

It is a poor fit when the goal is to hide automation, bypass a firm's detection, let another person control the account, or depend on one beta protection feature as the final loss boundary. In those cases, the compliance and operational risks are part of the product decision, not setup details to solve later.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Traders Connect cost?

The captured help page states $10 per connected account monthly or $100 annually for Premium. The current product builder separately shows Futures from $30 monthly, TC Analyzer at $29.99 monthly, and a Dedicated Environment at $30 monthly before extra connected accounts.

Which platforms does Traders Connect support?

The product page captured on 18 August 2026 lists MT4, MT5, cTrader, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, ProjectX, and Rithmic. Confirm the exact broker, server, and account type before subscribing.

Is Traders Connect allowed on prop-firm accounts?

There is no universal answer. The selected firm's current agreement must allow the exact account owners, products, platforms, copying direction, automation, and coordination involved. The copier vendor cannot grant that permission.

Does a Dedicated Environment make copying compliant?

No. It allocates hardware and an IP address to selected connections. It does not override personal-use, EA, copy-trading, cross-provider, allocation, or account-management restrictions.

Can Equity Protection replace a prop firm's drawdown monitor?

No. The feature is currently labelled beta and uses its documented balance-versus-equity settings. A firm's daily, static, intraday-trailing, or end-of-day-trailing rule can calculate a different boundary.
