Trading Rules

Below are the trading rules you should follow in FundingPips:

  • 3% Rule: No single trade loss beyond 3% of account size. Splitting trades doesn’t bypass this rule.
  • Consistency Rule: (FundingPips Zero only) Biggest winning day ≤ 15% of total profits, and a 15% consistency score is required for payouts.
  • Inactivity: At least 1 trade every 30 days.
  • Minimum Profitable Days: 7 within 30 days.
  • Forbidden Strategies: Arbitrage (latency, reverse, long/short), gap trading, server spamming, hedging, opposite account trading.

Copy Trading

For traders who have multiple prop firm accounts and need copy trading:

  • Internal copy trading is allowed between your own Funding Pips accounts.
  • External copy trading supported via Prop Firm One (PF1), which enables trades across multiple firms from a single platform.

News & Weekend Trading

FundingPips News and weekend trading rules are as follows:

  • 1-Step, 2-Step, and Funding Pips Pro: News trading allowed in evaluation. On funded accounts, profits from trades within 5 hrs before to 5 mins after high-impact news are excluded (unless on the On-Demand cycle, which allows unrestricted news trading). Weekend holding is allowed.
  • FundingPips Zero (Instant Funding): No news or weekend trading allowed.

Scaling

Here’s the overview of account sizes and scaling:

  • Standard account sizes: $5k, $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K.
  • Traders can merge accounts up to $300,000.
  • With scaling, traders can reach a maximum allocation of $2,000,000.

EAs (Expert Advisors)

EAs are allowed only for trade/risk management. Third-party strategy EAs not permitted.

Payout Rules

  • Minimum Profit: 1% of initial balance
  • Splits by Model:
    • 1-Step & 2-Step: 60% weekly, 80% bi-weekly, 90% On-Demand, 100% monthly
    • Pro: 80% weekly
    • Zero: 95% bi-weekly
    • Scaling (Hot Seat): 100% On-Demand

To qualify for the On-Demand 90% payout (1-Step & 2-Step), traders need a 35% consistency score (no single day exceeding 35% of total profits).
