My Funded Futures Overview
My Funded Futures is one of the most popular prop firms for futures traders, with up to 72,000 active traders. Founded in November 2023 and based in the U.S., the firm offers a range of challenges, each with its own features and trading rules.

With a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot and thousands of positive reviews, it has built a solid reputation among traders.
So, let’s get started by taking a closer look at the evaluation models offered by My Funded Futures.
My Funded Futures Evaluation Plans
At My Funded Futures platform, you can choose from different challenges like Starter, Starter Plus, and Expert. These challenges are run on a simulated account. Your goal is to reach the profit target, follow the rules, and then you can earn payouts based on your simulated profits.
There’s also the Eval to Live challenge. In this one, once you meet all the requirements (like hitting the profit target and staying consistent), you move on to a Live Funded Account.
If you visit the My Funded Futures website, you might notice a few other challenge names too. I get it! It can be a little confusing at first. But hang tight! First, I’ll walk you through the original evaluation models (Legacy accounts) that are still available. Then, in other sections, I’ll break down the newer options as well.
Starter Plan
The Starter Challenge is one single phase with the following rules:
- Profit Target: This is the profit you need to hit during the evaluation. It acts as a benchmark for your performance. The target here is set at $3,000.
- Maximum Positions: This is the highest number of contracts you’re allowed to hold at one time. You can hold up to 3 contracts at a time with a starter challenge.
- Daily Loss Limit: This is the maximum loss you can cap at. Here, your daily loss limit is $1,200 per trading day.
- Trailing Max Drawdown: This is a dynamic drawdown that adjusts based on your positive account performance and is calculated at the end of each trading day. This is set at $2,500.
- Consistency Rule: Some prop firms want your trades to be super consistent in size or style. With this challenge, your consistency rule is 40% per payout cycle.
- Price: You can join this challenge for just $97.
Starter Plus Plan

These challenges come with specific trading parameters based on the account size you choose: either $50K, $100K, or $150K. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
- Profit Target: For $50K, $100K, and $150K accounts, the profit targets are $3,000, $6,000, and $9,000, respectively.
- Maximum Positions: The limits are 3 contracts for $50K, 6 for $100K, and 9 for $150K.
- Daily Loss Limit: Good news! There’s no daily loss limit for this plan. So if you have a rough trading day, no biggie, as long as you stay within the overall rules.
- Trailing Maximum Drawdown: The limits are $2,000 for $50K, $3,000 for $100K, and $4,500 for $150K accounts.
- Consistency Rule: My Funded Futures doesn’t apply a consistency rule to this evaluation plan.
- Starter Plus Account Prices: If you’re interested in this challenge, the costs are $127 for 50K, $267 for 100K, and $367 for 150K accounts.
Expert Plan

The Expert Challenge also comes in three account sizes: $50K, $100K, and $150K each with its own set of trading parameters. Here’s how they stack up:
- Profit Target: You’ll need to reach $4,000 for the $50K account, $8,000 for the $100K, and $12,000 for the $150K.
- Maximum Positions: The limits are higher here: 5 contracts for $50K, 10 for $100K, and 15 for $150K accounts.
- Daily Loss Limit: Just like the other challenges, there’s no daily loss limit in the Expert Challenge.
- Trailing Drawdown: The trailing drawdown stays the same as the Starter Plus model: $2,000 for $50K, $3,000 for $100K, and $4,500 for $150K.
- Consistency Rule: None here either!
- Pricing: The cost to join is $227 for the 50K, $344 for the 100K, and $477 for the 150K account.
Eval to Live One-Step Plan

Unlike some of the other evaluation models I mentioned earlier, the Eval to Live challenges work a bit differently. When you take on one of Eval to Live challenges, you get a live, funded account right from the start. That account comes with a starting balance of $2,000 and an 80% profit split. There are two types of Eval to Live plans: one-step and two-step. Here’s what you need to know if you choose the one-step version:
- Account Size: $50,000
- Profit Target: $3,000
- Max Position: 3 trades at a time
- Max Trailing Drawdown: $1,500
- Consistency Rule: No single trade should make up more than 20% of your total profits.
- Timeline: No deadline! Take your time and pass whenever you’re ready.
- Price: $444
Eval to Live 2-Step Plan
With the Eval to Live 2-Step model, you’ll still get a $2,000 live account to start with, just like the one-step option. The big difference here is that this version is more budget-friendly, and it has two phases to complete instead of one. Here’s what you need to follow:
- Account Size: $50,000
- Profit Target: $3,000 for each phase
- Max Position: 3
- Max Daily Drawdown: $1,500
- Consistency Rule: Phase 1: 40% rule, Phase 2: 50% rule
- Timeline: No time limit; pass whenever
- Price: $197

My Funded Futures Payout Rules
Similar to other trading prop firms, like FTMO and E8 Markets, My Funded Futures also offers its unique payout model.
- If you’re on the Starter Plus, you can request a payout every 5 winning days. There’s also a 40% consistency rule, and the minimum withdrawal is $100, $200, or $300, depending on your account size.
- Starter plan also works the same when it comes to timing (every 5 winning days), but there’s no consistency rule to worry about.
- If you’re using the Expert Evaluation model, you can request a payout every 14 days with a minimum withdrawal of $1,000.
Plan | Payout Cycle | Minimum Withdrawal |
---|---|---|
Starter Plus | 5 days | $100 |
Starter | 5 days | $100, $200, or $300 |
Expert | 14 days | $1,000 |
My Funded Futures Trading Hours
Trading hours on MFF run from 6:00 PM to 4:10 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time / New York Time).
Just a heads-up: all trades will automatically close at 4:10 PM, but don’t worry—this won’t cause a breach in your account.
My Funded Futures Rules (Prohibited Practices)
To help you trade better and avoid unnecessary losses, here are some things that aren’t allowed on My Funded Futures. Keep in mind: if any profits come from these prohibited practices, they’ll be taken away.
News trading is off-limits. That means news strategies around big economic events (like CPI, FOMC, or Employment Reports) aren’t allowed. Make sure to close all trades and cancel any pending orders at least 2 minutes before one of these events, and wait until 2 minutes after it ends before trading again.
High-frequency trading (HFT) isn’t permitted in any of our plans. Placing a various number of limit orders at the same price to try and game the system? Yeah, don’t do that! It’s not allowed.
Microscalping, which means opening trades that only last a few seconds (like 8–12 seconds, aiming for tiny profits), falls under high-frequency trading, too. So, that’s a no-go.
Copy-trading or signal-following from someone else, or using the same device as another trader (like a phone or computer), is also not allowed. Keep things fair and stick to your own trades.
And finally, all positions must be closed by 4:10 PM EST on regular trading days. Don’t try to squeeze in last-minute trades after that; forcing trades can backfire and even get you disqualified. It’s just not worth the hassle.
My Funded Futures Reviews on Trustpilot
One of the best places to check out real user reviews about My Funded Futures is Trustpilot. They’ve earned an impressive 4.9 out of 5 stars, based on nearly 7,000 reviews, and about 94% of those are positive!

Here’s what people are saying in the positive reviews:
- Excellent customer support
- Simple and easy-to-understand evaluation rules
- Clean and user-friendly platform
- Fast response times
- Clear and fair rules, with a straightforward path to getting funded
Of course, no platform is perfect. A few users did raise concerns, mainly about accounts being canceled or flagged without much explanation. Some also mentioned that rule enforcement can feel a bit sudden or unclear in certain situations, which, yeah, can be a bit of a buzzkill.
My Funded Futures Latest Changes (2025 Updates)
If you’ve visited the My Funded Futures website recently, you might have noticed some new names for their evaluation programs, Core, Scale, and Pro. At first, it can definitely be a bit confusing (it sure was for me!).
But don’t worry! As always, I’m here at Traders Fund Hub to break it down and make things simple for you.
According to their official site, these three new challenges, Core, Scale, and Pro, are the updated versions of the older Starter Plus, Starter, and Expert plans I mentioned earlier. These new names are part of their refreshed structure.

My Funded Futures Activation Fee
If you purchased a legacy plan (like Starter, Starter Plus, or Expert) before July 22, 2025, and decide to move forward with funding, the $149 activation fee might still apply.
However, under the new structure and challenge system (as mentioned earlier), My Funded Futures has officially removed the activation fee. According to their website, this change took effect on July 22, 2025. So if you’re on one of the new plans, there’s no activation fee anymore, which is a nice little win.
Conclusion
That’s a wrap on our look at My Funded Futures. Launched in 2023, the platform has quickly made a name for itself by offering traders a range of challenges and opportunities to prove their skills.
And here’s a big update: starting July 22, 2025, the activation fee has been completely removed. So if you’re looking to get funded, you can now skip that extra cost. Sounds perfect!
